Fee structure for PIN and Chipknip
Effective 1 January 2012, the fees charged by Currence are as follows:
1.Joining fee for new Licensees: € 50,000 per product.
2. Annual fee per product:
€ 2,500 per individual licence as acquiring bank
€ 2,500 per individual licence as issuing bank
or
€ 6,000 per group licence as acquiring bank
€ 6,000 per group licence as issuing bank
3. Volume fee for:

Issuing bank € 0.00260 per transaction
Chipknip
Acquiring bank € 0.00380 per transaction
Issuing bank € 0.00380 per transaction

The above amounts are exclusive of VAT.
* In 2011, PIN largely replaced by Maestro and V PAY. In the first months of 2012 Currence expected that a limited number of PIN transactions will be executed. These will be taxed at the current rate. For PIN will no longer be required annual contribution.
Fee structure for Certificate Holders
Certificate Holders are not charged any fees at this stage.
N.B. The certification procedure costs for licences, certificates, terminals or data communication networks are borne by the applicant.
