The cheapest and most efficient way of collecting payments.

Incasso/Machtigen, the Dutch direct debit product, is by far the cheapest and most efficient way of collecting cashless payments. The product is aimed at the business market. A direct debit enables a payee to initiate automated payments which are debited to the payer’s account and credited to the payee’s account. For this to happen, the payee must have been given a mandate by the payer authorising debits on the payer’s account in respect of amounts due as either one-off or regular payments.

The advantage for the payee is that payment is made on the due date. For the payer there is the convenience, once the direct debit mandate has been completed, signed and returned, of not having to take any further action to make payments (apart from ensuring that there are sufficient funds on the account concerned). Forgotten payments are a thing of the past.

Many people use direct debits. Incasso, the name of the Dutch direct debit product, is very convenient for paying things like the rent, membership subscriptions or subscriptions to newspapers, quite simply because it is the easiest way to pay.
