Privacy
Currence appreciates your interest in its products and services and thanks you for visiting this website. Your privacy is important to us and we want you to feel comfortable when you visit any of our websites. Protecting your privacy when we process your personal data is an important matter which receives special attention as part of our business processes. Personal data collected by us when you visit our websites is processed in accordance with the legal requirements applicable in the Netherlands. The Currence websites may, however, contain hyperlinks to other websites not covered by this Privacy Statement. Currence respects your privacy and personal information.

Collection and processing of personal data
If you visit any of our sites associated with specific campaigns, our web server automatically records the name of your intranet service provider, the website you used to reach our site, the websites you currently have open and the date and duration of your visit. We use cookies to track the preferences of our visitors and to optimise our websites accordingly. Supplementary personal details will only be recorded if they have been provided voluntarily by you.

Use and disclosure of personal data and purpose of collecting such data
If you provide us with your personal details on any of our websites we will use that information explicitly for the purpose for which it is collected, e.g. to take part in a lottery or competition or to respond to a request for information. Currence will use your personal data exclusively in connection with the technical management of the websites, customer satisfaction, account records, product research and marketing and only to the extent specifically necessary in each case and depending on what you have agreed to under the terms and conditions of a particular campaign. We will only disclose your details to the authorities where required to do so by law. Third parties with whom we collaborate are under obligation from us to respect your privacy.

Right to see and correct personal details
Details held on file in connection with campaigns are reported to the Dutch Data Protection Board in The Hague. You can request to see the information contained in that file. We may make a charge for providing that information. If there are inaccuracies in your details you may e-mail us requesting amendment, addressing your message to info@currence.nl with ‘change of personal details’ in the subject line. We will respond to your request within four weeks.

Security
Currence has technical and organisational security measures in place to protect the data in our possession from accidental or malicious manipulation, loss, destruction and unauthorised access. Our security procedures undergo constant refinement as new technologies are introduced.
